Refund policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, unread and, where relevant, in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at lily@bookspacecardiff.co.uk. Please note that returns will need to be dropped off at the following address: 26a Crwys Road, Cardiff, CF24 4NL
If your return is accepted, you can drop off your items at your earliest convenience.
Any refunds take into account the fee we are charged by Shopify (for online purchases) or by our card machine providor (for in store purchases)
Exceptions / non-returnable items
We cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards or our mystery books.
Exchanges
We prefer to do exchanges as refunds cost us quite a lot more than any other transaction in fees. If you would like to exchange your item, it must be in its original condition, same as a return.
Event tickets
If you can't make an event anymore after you've booked do let us know. If you tell us 24 or more hours before the event we will be able to refund your ticket price minus the processing fee that Shopify charges us for the original transaction.
Second Hand Books
Occasionally we can't order books in because they are out of print. In this case if there is a second hand copy available from one of our suppliers we will be able to offer that to you. We cannot guarantee the quality of the book. Any second hand books are not returnable and we are unable to offer any refunds.
