A winner in the new Welsh writing awards, Festival of the Ghost is set in a diverse, contemporary Cardiff. A pacey, high-concept time-warp crime novella exploring themes of violence, ritual and alternative realities, while it seeks to honour the victims of serial killers and challenge the way that some have become part of the tourism industry.

‘Courageous, daring, humorous and deeply human.’ Joshua Jones

‘Compelling… humorous and tightly plotted, with a superb sense of urban space’ Gwen Davies

Joshua Jones is a writer and critic whose first collection Local Fires set in Llanelli is currently being developed into a film.
